Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: July 01, 2026
Welcome to Novascend Neurowellness, A Professional Nursing Corporation. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, services, appointments, consultations, and related communications. By scheduling an appointment, submitting forms, using our website, or receiving services from Novascend Neurowellness, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Services Provided
Novascend Neurowellness provides psychiatric mental health services, which may include:
Psychiatric evaluations, medication management, follow-up visits, telehealth appointments, consultation services, care coordination, and related clinical support.
Services are provided by qualified mental health professionals and are intended to support mental health assessment, treatment planning, symptom management, and overall well-being.
2. Client Responsibilities
As a patient or client of Novascend Neurowellness, you agree to provide accurate and complete information regarding your health history, symptoms, medications, allergies, prior treatment, and any relevant changes in your condition.
You are responsible for attending scheduled appointments, completing required forms, following agreed-upon treatment recommendations, and communicating concerns or changes in symptoms in a timely manner.
3. Appointment Cancellations and Rescheduling
Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Late cancellations, missed appointments, or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee. Repeated missed appointments may affect your ability to continue receiving services.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
Novascend Neurowellness may suspend or delay non-urgent services if payment is not received or if an outstanding balance remains unresolved. Patients are responsible for understanding their financial obligations, including self-pay rates, out-of-network costs, and any fees related to forms, letters, or missed appointments.
5. Insurance and Out-of-Network Services
Novascend Neurowellness may be in the process of insurance credentialing or may operate as an out-of-network provider. Insurance participation is not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.
If superbills are provided, reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your insurance plan. Patients are responsible for verifying benefits, deductibles, reimbursement eligibility, and referral requirements directly with their insurance carrier.
6. Telehealth Services
Telehealth appointments require access to a private location, internet connection, and a device capable of video and audio communication.
By participating in telehealth services, you understand that limitations may exist compared with in-person care. If telehealth is not clinically appropriate, Novascend Neurowellness may recommend in-person care, higher-level care, emergency services, or referral to another provider.
7. Code of Conduct
Patients are expected to communicate respectfully with providers, staff, and any affiliated team members.
Threatening, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, or inappropriate behavior may result in termination of services. Novascend Neurowellness reserves the right to discontinue services when safety, boundaries, or the therapeutic relationship are compromised.
8. Emergency and Crisis Care
Novascend Neurowellness does not provide emergency care or crisis services.
If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, thoughts of harming yourself or others, or immediate safety concerns, call 911, go to the nearest emergency room, or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.
Website forms, emails, voicemails, and routine messages should not be used for emergencies.
9. No Guarantee of Outcomes
While Novascend Neurowellness strives to provide thoughtful, evidence-informed, and patient-centered care, specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Mental health treatment varies by individual. Response to treatment may depend on many factors, including diagnosis, history, medications, consistency with care, medical conditions, lifestyle factors, and outside supports.
